Vesselina is Bulgarian by birth, Belgian by
nationality, European by education and culture
and International by perspectives and
convictions. She has lived, studied and worked
in several countries in Europe and the US. She
is fluent in four languages – Bulgarian,
English, Dutch, French and conversant in Russian
and German. Vesselina is a truly multi-lingual
and multi-cultural professional offering strong
conceptual thinking, business acumen and very
creative approach, excellent interpersonal
skills and a real gift for forging partnerships
and bringing out the best in people.
In the last 20 years, organizational
opportunities have shaped her business profile
and created her rich all-round repertoire of a
Senior Human Resources Professional. She offers
clients and employers alike global perspective,
strategic fluency and a proven track record in

recruitment and evaluation; Leadership
Development; Career coaching; Employee
Communication; Diversity and inclusion
Most recently, Vesselina headed the Global
Talent Management function at UCB, a health care
company, leader in bio Pharma proprietary
products and services in the CNS and immunology
therapeutic areas. Vesselina has had a broad
range of experiences at FMC, an American
chemical multinational, in the fields of
Organizational DesigPerformance Management,
Competency Evaluation and Assessment.
Previously, Vesselina Petrova was one of the
first Search Practitioners who offered her
clients a one-stop shop for cross-European
search assignments which often included her
multilingual project research team.
Vesselina Petrova holds a Bachelor’s Degree in
Linguistics ( University of Sofia, Bulgaria ) ,
a Master’s in English Drama ( University of
Sussex, Brighton, UK ) a Master’s in
Neurolinguistics ( Free University of Brussels,
Belgium) and a certificate from the
International Executive Program at INSEAD,
France, as well as the international Talent
Management Program at London Business School.
Vesselina has served at the Trade and Investment
and the Human Resources Committees of the
American Chamber of Commerce in Brussels,
Belgium. She is active both as an INSEAD Alumni
and a member of the European Talent Management
Network Group, Brussels.
